MedPanel Strengthens Executive,
Sales and Content Development Teams to Support Growth Trend and Strategic Objectives

Cambridge, MA, July 7, 2004 - MedPanel, a market leader in online medical intelligence for life sciences companies, announced today strategic and critical additions to its executive, sales, and content development teams. These new hires reflect MedPanel's current growth and its commitment to increase access to its expanding suite of products and services for pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies.

Marketing and Physician Recruitment
John Smith has been appointed MedPanel's new Vice President of Marketing. John is responsible for developing and implementing MedPanel's short- and long-term marketing strategy, assessing current and new markets as well as new product opportunities, and identifying new partnerships and channels for growth. John has more than 20 years of industry experience and most recently served as Senior Vice President and Health Technology Practice Leader at Brodeur Worldwide, a global marketing and public relations firm focused on technology-based companies. John holds a Bachelors of Arts in English, as well as a Masters of Business Administration.

Janet Bernard joins MedPanel as the Senior Director of Community Development. Janet oversees worldwide physician recruitment operations and is concentrated on enhancing MedPanel's European capabilities. Prior to joining MedPanel, Janet founded two successful healthcare research firms that served the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Previously, Janet was a director with Decision Resources, Inc., a research and consulting company serving the pharmaceutical industry.

Sales
MedPanel also added three new reps to its sales team as well as opened sales offices in New Jersey and Texas during the first half of 2004. In Boston, Joanne Robillard was appointed Business Development Executive for MedPanel's new syndicated report series, Profiles. In this role Joanne is charged with creating a market for the new product, initiating direct sales, and maintaining customer relationships. Previously Joanne was an executive at AMR research, where she supplied hospitals and life sciences companies with qualitative and quantitative research and achieved yearly revenues of over $1 million.

Katherine Briggs, based in Maplewood, New Jersey, will manage large pharmaceutical clients such as Roche, Wyeth and Schering-Plough. Prior to joining MedPanel, Katherine founded MedscopeCME, a company that planned and coordinated production of CME publications. Katherine is also a founding member of Mother Entrepreneurs, a mentoring group for women with their own businesses.

Deb Wells, operating out of San Antonio, Texas, will manage Midwest clients such as Abbott Laboratories and Eli Lilly. Previously, Deb worked for National Diabetic Pharmacies as Regional Director of sales and contracting where she was responsible for central and western U.S. managed care contracting and territory management. Deb has over 20 years experience in healthcare sales and marketing administration, including stints at Olsten Health Services, Superior Health Plan and Pharmacia Deltech.

Content Development
Gandhali Bhole has been hired as Director of Research Projects. In this role she will design and field research projects as well as work with clients to achieve project objectives. Gandhali was previously a Research Assistant at Millenium Pharmaceuticals, where she developed selection criteria for early development drug candidates by building pharmacological disease models. She holds a Masters of Science in Pharmcology and a Masters of Business Administration.

Jitendra Gowda joins MedPanel as Director of Quantitative Services. Jitendra's responsibilities include survey design, survey programming, management of field activities, data analysis, and report creation, as well as client interaction and management. Jitendra previously worked at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Department of Preventive and Behavioral Medicine where he was involved in clinical and epidemiological studies. Jitendra has earned a Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy, a Masters of Science in Pharmacokinetics, and a Masters of Public Health in Health Policy and Management.
